| Dutch supermarket starts pilot with play structure |
|
With the opening a new store in Vijfhuizen, Holland, Hoogvliet not only opened their 61st store but also started a test with a new store layout. New colours, strategic placing of several product groups and a new play concept for children are being tested. Hoogvliet coorperated with Instore Kids Corners to create a play structure that satisfies the needs of children now a days. “A modern play structure”, says Albert van Kempen, advertising & promotion manager. “Times change. Also the preferences and needs of our children change. With this play structure we are able to entertain modern children.” Hoogvliet spends a lot of square meters to entertain children. “The children are the customers of the future. Besides, for the mother its very pleasant that their children like to go to the supermarket with them.”
